Every year, Island Divers offers a limited number of Divemaster Internship spots for passionate individuals ready to take the next step in their diving journey. Graduates of our Divemaster Internship program can also advance further with our SSI Instructor Training Courses. Over 12 action-packed days, you’ll learn how to teach beginner and advanced divers, manage groups of all ages, and set yourself up for a successful career in the diving industry.

Diving in Phi Phi is unreal!
Crystal-clear water, vibrant coral reefs, and so much marine life, reef sharks, and colorful fish everywhere.The guides were super friendly and well prepared. The boat is big but the staff supports with all the operations allowing you to relax in between dives and also a meal is included between the two.If you’re already a diver you already know how good it is underwater, if you are a beginner on holiday also recommend to at least try the guided dive at least once before leaving the island, it’ll be an experience impossible to forget!

Do I need a licence or certification to dive?
No, you don’t! If you’re new to diving, our Try Dive experience lets you explore the ocean under the supervision of a certified instructor—no prior training needed. -
Do I need to be able to swim to try scuba diving?
The Try Scuba experience lets you experience the thrill of Scuba Diving without being able to swim under the safe supervision of our experienced Instructors. -
What’s the best way to get to Phi Phi Island?
The only way to get to Phi Phi Island is by ferry or speedboat and takes between 1 and 2 hours, there are lots of options from Phuket and Krabi, contact us or a reputable travel agent for exact times. -
Do I need to stay overnight to dive in Phi Phi Island?
Yes, you will need to stay a minimum of one night on the island if you would like to dive with us. -
Can you dive all year round in Thailand?
Yes we are open for Diving all year round. Contact us directly for up to date conditions and Dive information. The best conditions are usually from December to May. -
What’s the difference between PADI and SSI?
Both Padi and SSI are internationally recognised certification agencies and your licence will be recognised in all dive centers worldwide. The SSI online learning system offers a smoother, more up to date experience but the in water training and skills you will learn are the same — Padi certification fees are much higher than SSI so you can expect to save money choosing SSI courses. -
What will I see scuba diving in Phi Phi Island?
Expect to see vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, reef sharks, clownfish (Nemo!), lionfish, and schools of tropical fish. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a leopard shark or a whale shark! -
How much does it cost to scuba dive in Phi Phi Island?
